Turkey with Happy Thanksgiving written under itA big thank you to Carolyn Nelson (School Nurse), Dawn Law (Data Assessment Coordinator/Math Teacher), and Marti Bolduc (School Social Worker) for organizing this year’s district wide annual Thanksgiving Basket fundraiser. The staff of the Moultonborough School District raised over $1300 to help families in the community have a memorable Thanksgiving. A generous contribution was also made from a family in the community to support this effort. In years past, they have put together actual baskets, but since COVID they switched to purchasing Hannaford gift cards (no alcohol or tobacco) with help in securing everything needed for a thanksgiving meal. MSD was able to help over 25 families this year.

A reminder that if you or you know of someone who could use some support, please reach out to Marti Bolduc, MSD Social Worker, mbolduc@sau45.org / (603) 476-4996. The community resources link on the district website has additional information on other resources available in our community, including food insecurity and mental health services.
