Mrs. Anderson, MCS Library/Media Specialist has announced some special events coming up that are very exciting!
Wednesday, February 1st is World Read Aloud Day. https://www.storyvoice.live/ is offering 10 Read-Aloud’s to join with your class. See the photo of the books they are going to share.
Tuesday, February 21st from 10:00-10:30 we will have an all school assembly with FUNGO, the mascot from the NH Fisher Cats! He will be promoting their 5 book reading challenge where kids can register to earn two free tickets to one of their baseball games. This will be a great way to get kids excited for literacy month in March! We will be sending out a March literacy month calendar as soon as it is finalized.
Friday, March 31st – Author visit from MARTY KELLEY!! He will be here all day, and a schedule will be sent out. He does not bring books to buy with him… but he has an order form which will go home with students after his visit.
Get ready to get excited about reading!
