The club met for their final meeting this week and celebrated their love of reading with their companions. Readers started meeting in October with their family member and read a new book each month. We met once a month to discuss the book and share objects and food that represented something from the story. Students submitted designs they created for our 2023 Book Companions Club t-shirt. During our final meeting, we gifted all readers with the shirt they designed. Pins were also made from their creative ideas. It was a wonderful night filled with discussion, laughter, and t-shirt signing. Thank you to Mrs. Anderson, Mrs. Elliott, and all the family members for supporting this amazing book club. We look forward to sharing this experience with readers next year.
