Heart Dissection in Advanced Biology – Students studying the circulatory system in Advanced Biology with Mr. Shaw, conducted a heart dissection recently. The very fresh pig hearts allowed students to see structures like the “heart strings” (chordae tendineae), heart valves, and the muscular left ventricle.
