November 7-11, 2022 is National School Psychology Week, and this year’s theme “Together We Shine” is derived from how we see hope after several challenging years. We have all faced difficulties created by the pandemic, social injustice and inequity, economic stress, and challenges to mental and physical health. For some, it has been a time of real darkness, and finding light is critical to building resilience and hope.
As with all school-based professionals, the members of district counseling team are most effective in their work through collaboration with other school staff, families, and members of the community. National School Psychology Week is part of an ongoing effort to improve collaboration and foster the common elements of a thriving school community to help all students grow and succeed.
Our mental health team is Heather Nelson, Director of Counseling Services; Marti Bolduc, Schools Social Worker; Jen Chapman, Moultonborough Academy High School Counselor; Erma Krupic, Moultonborough Academy Middle Level Counselor; and Sara Fogarty, Moultonborough Central School.
