At the June 11, 2024, Moultonborough School Board meeting, the School Board recognized retiring educators for their service with plaques, thanks, and cakes. This year’s cohort of retirees represent education roles that provide valuable services to the school district’s students beyond the traditional classroom teacher role: Dawn Law, MA STEM and Math Teach, Data & Assessment Coordinator for 40 years; Shaw Smith, MA Science Teacher for 29 years; and Cheryl Panakio, MCS Special Education Teacher for 11 years.
A few words about the retirees as they received the plaque honoring their service. Prior to the start of the School Board meeting, the community celebrated the retirees at a reception.
