Third graders in Mrs. Secord’s reading classes celebrated the end of their character studies unit today by having a “dog themed” party, just like their characters in their class read aloud, Because of Winn-Dixie by Kate DiCamillo. Students also watched the Winn-Dixie movie and were on the lookout for similarities and differences between the book and movie.
