Welcome To Our New Mental Health Clinician!

Moultonborough School District welcomes Sarah Fenton as our new full-time mental health clinician. Mrs. Fenton was the clinical director of Northern Human Services in Wolfeboro for ten years before joining the MSD team. Mrs. Fenton is already known to many of the students and staff at MCS as she was a contracted Northern Human Services clinician for MCS (1/2 day per week) since January of last year. Mrs. Fenton brings with her a diverse and impressive set of clinical skills and is certified in an array of evidenced-based practices for youth. She will be a great asset to the district’s counseling team! MSD recognizes that mental health challenges negatively impact students’ full access to—and participation in—learning. The COVID-19 pandemic further exacerbated these challenges and created an overwhelming need for school-based mental health services across the country, especially in rural areas with little to no access to these services outside of school. We are grateful for the community’s support in providing these necessary and valuable services for our students and families.
