At the April 9 Moultonborough School Board meeting, Superintendent Patrick Andrew recognized Mike Kepple of the Moultonborough Town Public Works Department as the 2024 Champion for Children. Each year the district recognizes a community member for their distinguished public service, which has been of great benefit to children within the Moultonborough Community, a Champion for Children. Superintendent Patrick Andrew spoke of recalling the first time he met Mike in 2018 doing a walk- through of the parking lots discussing snow removal. Superintendent Andrew spoke of the numerous times over the past 6 years that Mike has helped the schools with routine and crisis situations, such as removing ice dams, reducing snow piles that covered windows at Moultonborough Academy, putting up lights in the parking lot, filling a sink hole at Moultonborough Central School, clearing clogged storm drains which were causing flooding in the buildings, and, most recently, helping with the placement of bollard at MA and MCS. Superintendent Andrew appreciated Mike Kepple’s and his team’s help keeping the buildings open and safe for our students.
Congratulations, Mike Kepple, Moultonboorugh School District 2024 Champion for Children! Thank you for all you do!
