MA students recently got their hands dirty during the NH Soil Judging Competition. Each person analyzes soil layers in a soil test pit, records their data, then applies their data to determine the best uses for the land around each of the soil test pits. The competition was held at UNH’s Kingman Farm, a working farm that is part of UNH’s Agriculture School.
