High School Food Truck Project

The high school health class students just wrapped up their Food Truck project with Ms. Woodland.  The students had to design 2 signature meals using the USDA’s MyPlate guidelines. They had to discuss why (or why not) their meals met all the MyPlate requirements, while also being able to modify one of their meals to meet a dietary restriction such as gluten free, vegetarian, low fat, etc. Students then presented their trucks and meals to staff and students during their “food truck launch”.

Many thanks to tech-ed teacher, Mr. Glennon for using the 3D printer to print the truck bases for the students to use.
