Moultonborough Academy teacher, Meredith Brown, shaved her head on Friday, March 10, to help cure childhood cancer. This was her fourth year participating in the St. Baldrick’s Foundation fundraiser. This year she has raised over $2,000.
Before and after:

Meredith shaves her head with St. Baldrick’s because “kids with cancer need our support now more than ever. St. Baldrick’s is the largest non-government funder of childhood cancer research grants, and the pandemic has slashed donations, slowing down the progress to find cures. Cancer kills more of our kids than any other disease. Research can change that, and I don’t want to let these kids down.”

Cody Eichhorn ’25, who shaved Ms. Brown’s head, also shaved his head afterward.
