The Moultonborough Central School Robotics Team, the Cub Bots, participated in the lakes regional spring scramble on Saturday, May 30th in Penacook. Coaches Jeremy Welch and Amber Hoag brought the newly formed team to the event to learn about FIRST robotics competitions and allow them to see the program in action. There were about ten teams from the lakes region who participated, allowing students to meet more experienced builders and coders, connect with a FIRST robotics mentor, and practice their coding skills. The FIRST LEGO League 2024-2025 season is called “Submerged,” focusing on exploring the ocean’s depths and inspiring future innovators. Teams will use creative thinking and LEGO technology to explore the ocean and share their learnings.
