To deal with winter road conditions, Moultonborough Schools, in consultation with the bus company and road crews, sometimes calls for a 2 hour delay. Occasionally, predicted road conditions close school for the day. The first day of the season that schools are closed is a traditional “Snow Day”. For most cancellations after the first “Snow Day”, the Moultonborough School District will be using Blizzard Bags when weather conditions close school.
Students in Grades K-3 have received paper Blizzard Bags (copies of which can be found here: Grade K-5 Blizzard Bags – Moultonborough School District (sau45.org) and students in Grades 4 – 12 will find their assignments by logging into their Schoology accounts.
When a Blizzard Bag Day is called, families will be notified via School Messenger (phone, text, email) that school is closed and that students should use their Blizzard Bags. A Blizzard Bag Day will also be announced on WMUR and WMUR.COM.
