At the March 21, 2022, Annual School District Meeting, the Moultonborough School Board recognized out-going School Board member Jon Tolman for his years of service to the school board. His term on the Board ended this year, and he is not seeking re-election. Tolman served 6 years on the School Board and served as Board Chair for three of those 6 years. At the Annual District Meeting, Superintendent of Schools Patrick Andrew praised Tolman’s work on the Board noting Tolman’s ability to keep what is best for students and the schools in the forefront of decision-making without compromising his fiscally conservative values and noting his deep commitment to honoring the legacy of his father’s service to this community, but also always looking forward to how the schools are going to serve future generations. Supt. Andrew recognized Tolman for his fairness and ability to hold a position and respect another’s differing position, which were greatly appreciated by the school community.
