Today, MCS students were so excited to welcome three members of the Lions Club this morning. Sally Sibulkin, former Moultonborough Academy guidance counselor, and Peter and Cathy Allen visited classrooms and met with students to teach them what active Lions Club members do for people in our community. Every student at our school received a new book as a gift. Students were excited to start reading their books right away. Two of our first graders were so appreciative they asked Peter for his autograph. Thank you to the Lions Club for their visit today and for our wonderful new books. It was a perfect way to kickoff our celebration of literacy in March. Happy reading everyone!
