On Wednesday May 11, 2022, Moiultonoborugh School District welcomed its newest members: Eric Bernow and Leah Haskins. Bernow was elected as a member to the school board in the town elections on Tuesday May 10. He won the 3-year term seat previously held by Jon Tolman, who chose not to seek reelection.
Haskins, class of 2023, serves as the student representative to the school board. She was elected to the position in May by students at Moultonborough Academy. She is replacing Dakota Mako, who will graduate in June. The student representative to the school board is a non-voting member of the school board, but nevertheless serves an important role by bringing student perspective and voice to board discussions and decisions.
