Professor Krystyna Stave from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, School of Public Policy and Leadership was a guest speaker in an AP Environmental Science recently. She shared an interactive simulation model called “C-ROADS” that she uses in her classes, which allows students to compare how different factors affect global climate change out to the year 2100.
She challenged student groups to use “C-ROADS” to explore in order to find ways to change the trajectory of carbon emissions into a more sustainable direction. Students were engaged in the process and enjoyed and appreciated Professor Stave’s presentation and expertise.
Professor Krystyna Stave is also a parent within the Moultonborough School District.
