At the Moultonborough School District School Board meeting on Tuesday April 11, 2023, the school board recognized Tim Woods as a Champion for Children. Each year the district recognizes a community member for their distinguished public service, which has been of great benefit to children within the Moultonborough Community, a Champion for Children. This year’s recipient is Tim Woods. The district wants to thank Mr. Woods for his coaching hours over the years and the care he has shown our students in that roles. He is always motivated by three guiding questions: Is this good for the student? Is it good for the school? And is it good for the community of Moultonborough?
Mr. Woods demonstrates civic virtue in all he does (father, coach, substitute teacher, EMT), which means that he places the needs of others above his own, supporting others when in need, offering empathy and support to all while encouraging growth and success in any endeavor with which he is associated.
Thank you for all that you do and for making the safety, wellbeing and encouragement of the children in Moultonborough your number one priority on a daily basis. Congratulations for being selected as the Champion of Children for 2023.
