Hello MA Community,
I am Dr. C.
I am substituting for Joe and will be working with Andy to help out where I can to make the school run smoothly and to do the best we can for all students. I am excited to be here.
I have a long NH history. I was born in Littleton and graduated in 1979. Cannon Mt. is still my spiritual home. I live on Lake Wicwas in Meredith where I am the President of the Lake Association. I play hockey with the Lakes Region Legends out of Laconia, am an avid skier and mountain e-biker, and I play out on guitar and vocals at some local restaurants. I have worked with the NHIAA for over a decade. I love theater.
My wife died last May of complications of heart issues stemming from radiation she received in high school to treat cancer. We dated since senior year at LHS and had a 40 year love story marriage. We have 4 children (Nora, Dean Jr., Ian and Carter) and one talented and gifted grandchild (Maddie). I also have a cat Molly who is very good to me. I am doing well and, for the most part, am not sad it ended, but am so happy it happened. I know being around a school, and especially being around middle school kids will be good for me and will bring some healing in my life. I have plenty of time to be involved at MA and hope you will invite me to be part of your community.
I will be here for the next few days, but am travelling to Vancouver to see Ian and meet Maya’s (his future wife’s) family. I will be gone 10/9-17, but will monitor emails and respond when I can.
Please invite me to come and participate and or observe in any classes or events that you have. I am a pretty good instructional coach and my back ground is more instructional than administrative.
