Students of the High School Technology Education Program have completed many wonderful Community Service projects throughout the course of the year. We would like to recognize their hard work and dedication to these projects. In total these projects have earned the students a combined total of nearly 100 community service hours.
Industrial Design, Engineering, and Art has completed two community service projects that serve the libraries at both MCS and MA. They created a wonderful piece of artwork for the Central School that looks like large Scrabble tiles. This allowed them to learn how to use the router in various ways. They then worked on individual community service projects for the Academy’s Library including a Lego Table, READ Artwork, a Puzzle table and a new iPad charging station.
Manufacturing Technology was tasked with creating Corn Hole Boards for the Moultonborough Recreation Department. They were allowed creative freedom in their choice of design on the boards. These boards follow the National Corn Hole Association’s requirements for boards.
